2-3 so far on the year counting ECL.
I'm a Chelsea fan and always have been (although I was born in Stoke) and I have to say that the refs absolutely ruined a fantastic game on Sunday (speaking of the Blues/Utd game).
I am all for getting the diving out of the game (thank you Argentinian, Brazilian, and Italian National teams for this. Their games are almost unwatchable with the amount of diving that goes on during their games.) but when a striker gets kicked in the knee, he is going down BECAUSE IT IS A FOUL!!!
The first red card....yes I agree with. Ivanovic was the last man and beaten. Ivanovic had to do what was necessary to stop a goal being scored. The 2nd Red Card was complete and utter bs! 2 days later I am still fuming over this because the refs ruined a terrific game.
Come on FIFA! Don't become MLB and get game changing descisions correct by using video replay (see NYG/Cowboys game).
The technology is there. USE IT!!!
